Opportunity: Maintenance Technician II at Promenade at Rio Vista, San Diego, CA

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8 AM - 5 PM

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional for our 970-unit community. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth in property management!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working on turnover and renovation units, responding to maintenance service requests.
• Performing external and internal repairs such as drywall, painting, fence and gate repairs, plumbing, appliance repairs, boilers, HVAC, and common area maintenance.
• Participating in emergency and after-hours coverage as scheduled or required.
• Operating machine tools like lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine for repairs and fabrication.
• Fabricating and repairing cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and wooden structures.
• Maintaining inventory and related paperwork.
• Keeping storage facilities and equipment in good order.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, appliances, etc.
• Knowledge and skill in performing quality work, using required tools and machinery.
• Professional interaction with co-workers, residents, and vendors.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders, safety rules, manuals, and present information effectively.
• High school diploma or GED, technical training, or 3-6 months related experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends.

Additional Details: Salary range $24.00-$27.50/hour. Benefits include 401(k) match, rental incentives, bonuses, rental discounts, medical, dental, vision, and vacation accrual. Sick time is provided per law.

*Sign-on bonus paid in two lump sums: 50% after 45 days, 50% after 90 days, contingent on 12 months employment.
