Job summary

The Old Globe in Balboa Park, San Diego, seeks a general maintenance technician with a background in building maintenance to support upkeep of the theatre and its facilities.

You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to work requests, set up events, repair appliances, and perform plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, pass a background check, and hold a California driver’s license. Availability Wed–Sun afternoons to late evenings is required.

Qualifications

• Background in building maintenance with hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work a regular schedule Wed–Sun, with afternoons/evenings.
• Must pass background check and have CA driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The Old Globe seeks a general maintenance technician with a background in building maintenance, to work for this award-winning, acclaimed regional theatre located in beautiful Balboa Park.
