Qualifications

• Requires mechanical maintenance background with understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and general electrical systems.
• Experience with relays, photo eyes and proximity sensors.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and basic diagnostic ability.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong maintenance/PM program background and good organizational skills.
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
• Aptitude to investigate and solve mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
• Assist and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost efficient operations.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ensure safety standards comply with guidelines.
• Monitor grounds and building systems.
• May be required to operate equipment or obtain certifications.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Romeoville, IL.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Requirements

• Mechanical experience with an understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems from 24VDC to 480 VAC
• Experience with simple electrical components such as relays, photo eyes, and proximity sensors
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, gear pullers, etc
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs
• Good organizational, communication, and planning skills
• Basic computer and parts inventory system skills
• Aptitude to investigate and problem‑solve various mechanical issues
