Nolan Living is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) in Roeland Park, KS. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC and building systems, participate in after-hours on-call, and ensure safety and operational readiness across properties.

With 4+ years of maintenance experience and HVAC certification, you will contribute to a team that values reliability, safety, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and building structures.
• Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Troubleshoot and respond to service requests promptly and professionally.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure safety and readiness.
• Maintain tools, inventory of supplies, and complete service documentation.
• Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

What You’ll Do:

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• HVAC certification required
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset

Additional Details:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Work may be performed on rooftops and require use of ladders or lift devices
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
