Job summary

Colonial Downs Group LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Rosie's Richmond in Virginia to perform preventive maintenance and repair across property and equipment. Qualifications

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all property and equipment.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections of all facility – troubleshooting related equipment and systems; make repairs and adjustments as necessary.
• Performs moderate to complex electrical repairs and modifications.
• Performs moderate to complex plumbing repairs and modifications.
• Performs moderate to complex general carpentry.
• Performs general painting including spackling, hole repair, and dry wall replacement.
• Assists with trash pickup and removal of the interior and exterior of the facility.
• Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Working knowledge in these areas – list not all inclusive: HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, basic repairs, painting, and wallpaper.

Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.

Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certifications in related fields preferred.
• Two (2) years’ work experience in related field.
• Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
• Must have a valid driver's license with minimum three (3) years of driving history.
