Job summary

Landmark-Property-Services, Inc. seeks a reliable Maintenance Technician with HVAC certification to support daily upkeep at a multi-family property in Richmond, VA. This full-time role covers repair work, preventive maintenance, and stakeholder communication with on-site staff.

You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and cleaning tasks, and assist with turnovers while ensuring safety and compliance with Fair Housing laws. Overtime and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• 6+ months maintenance experience or related field.
• Strong customer service and service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and staff.
• Familiarity with common maintenance tools and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly and professionally.
• Perform general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and cleaning.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
• Work with on-site manager and maintenance team; follow safety standards and Fair Housing laws.
