APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Reno, NV

About your new Career:

Lewis Apartment Communities seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for its beautiful 720‑apartment home Lewis‑owned community, Harvest at Damonte Ranch, located in Reno, NV.

The ideal candidate should possess a proven supervisory background, along with hands‑on experience in all aspects of general residential maintenance. Some of your work will include:

• Experience in residential maintenance, such as basic carpentry, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc) installation and repair
• Making ready units for new occupancy
• Proactive communication and interaction with your supervisor, community manager, staff, residents, and external contractors
• Walking the property with the Maintenance Supervisor, as needed.
• Maintaining units of current residents
• Maintaining the leasing office, your community's workshop, and all recreation facilities
• Other duties, as needed.

Other requirements include:

• Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
• Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community
• Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required
• Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English

YOUR SALARY & PERKS:

Hourly salary for this role is $28/hour without an on‑site apartment, or $18/hour with a $1800 housing discount on an on‑site apartment.
