Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Reinbeck, Iowa site to support production through mechanical maintenance and repairs. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC, and assist with safety and process improvements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in varied conditions with rotating shifts and overtime during peak seasons.

Our portfolio includes trusted industry brands like Pioneer, Brevant, and Hoegemeyer, delivering performance farmers rely on.Join us to help scale innovation globally and shape what’s next in crop science.Vylor has an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Reinbeck, Iowa site.What You Will Do:You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you, and your colleagues go home safely every day.As a maintenance team member, your primary role will be to support production operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment.Ensure the operation of company equipment, including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical and control devices.Perform mechanical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled equipment inspections, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures.Review and assist program leaders and teams with the mechanical safety programs to ensure adherence.Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures, including environmental regulations.Make recommendations for improved safety through mechanical programs and/or process changes.Team members will be required to work with the maintenance supervisor, coordinator and specialist on work queues, work orders and projects. Help organize and plan work, including conducting seasonal prep work.Assist maintenance team members with their daily work tasks as needed.Assist production team members with their daily work tasks as needed.Overtime hours, including weekend work, as required during seasonal peaks.Scheduled on-call coverage required during seasonal peaks.Rotating day and evening shifts.Various other duties as required by the needs of the business.Education:High school diploma or equivalentWhat Skills You Need:An attitude of curiosity.
