Job summary

CBRE HV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium buildings and industrial systems with emphasis on FLS, HVAC, and electrical systems. The role follows a Monday–Friday day shift, providing preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy-management support across building systems.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of related experience, plus knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.
• Meet physical requirements (stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, lift/carry 50 lbs+).
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment, with a focus on FLS systems, fire extinguishers, electrical systems, and PIV maintenance. This position follows a Monday through Friday, day-shift schedule.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Job Description

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) with a focus on HVAC systems and equipment.
• Support Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems, including inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
