CBRE HV is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician for day-shift hours in Leesburg, VA, to support a major technology client. You will handle general maintenance, repairs, PMs, and inspections across building systems, with focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires 2-3 years of related experience, basic plumbing and low-voltage skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass physical requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, low-voltage work and carpentry.
• Complete drywall, door and lock repairs and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections (e.g., fire extinguisher checks).
• Identify work scopes, estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.

Job description

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment while supporting a major technology client. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. You will be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems, including basic plumbing, low-voltage systems and carpentry.

Job Description

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry.
• Complete drywall repairs, door and lock repairs, and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine inspections, including fire extinguisher checks and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
