Job summary

Jobot Consulting in Portland, OR, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician for swing shift to service pumps, hoses, and mechanical systems. A welding certificate is a plus and may upgrade pay. This contract-to-hire role offers a path to a union job after probation.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in a manufacturing or mechanical environment, and technical training in industrial maintenance. OSHA 10 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical environment.
• Technical school training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or electrical systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation, mechanical systems (motors/gears/bearings/belts), or electrical is needed.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• OSHA 10 or safety trainings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service on pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, repair, and calibrate equipment including hoists and related machinery.
• Follow safety protocols and prevent hazards in a manufacturing setting.

Leading Manufacturing company located on the West side of Portland, OR is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician for Swing shift! If you have experience with pumps, fitting pipe, providing maintenance and service for hoists and other mechanical equipment, that is who they need! Welding certificate is a PLUS and has a pay upgrade!
