Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on all plant mechanical systems, utilities, process lines, and waste handling. This role requires hands-on troubleshooting and adherence to DFA procedures.

Responsibilities include SAP reporting, safety compliance (GMP, HACCP), and contributing to projects and expansions. Strong English communication and ability to work 24/7 in a manufacturing environment are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Complete SAP reporting
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair plant systems according to DFA procedures
• Perform required preventative maintenance, including lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes according to DFA maintenance procedures
• Participate in plant projects and expansions
• Follow safety, GMP, HACCP, and all other plant policies and procedures
• Attend scheduled training sessions
• Provide communication to all support team members by following proper escalation procedures
• Back fill team member absences with overtime as required
• Demonstrate success in tool ownership in a 24 x 7 manufacturing environment
• Work within budget, while completing timely repairs
• Perform root cause analysis
• Maintain repairs within departmental budget
• Other duties may be assigned as required
