Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support villa care and preventive maintenance tasks across our properties. The role includes handling basic repairs, lightbulb replacements, and HVAC-related checks to ensure a safe, comfortable guest experience.

The position requires availability for 1st and 2nd shifts including weekends and holidays, with on-site duties and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance on building systems (lights, fixtures, appliances).
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Comfort taking temperature readings on equipment and HVAC units.

Responsibilities

• Perform villa care preventive maintenance as assigned (painting, lightbulb replacement, basic repairs).
• Respond to guest repair requests and service calls in a timely manner.
• Assist with general engineering inventory and safety training as applicable.

(i.e. Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs.
