Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Club at Ka'anapali Beach seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support villa care and guest experiences within a hospitality setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and respond to guest repair requests to help create memorable vacations for Owners and guests.

The role requires participation in safety trainings, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. A clean driving record may be required.

Qualifications

Available to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.
Lift/carry/push/pull items up to 50 lbs.
Background and drug screening may be required per policy.
Valid driver's license may be required with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks (e.g., painting, lightbulb replacement, temperature readings).
Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
Responds to guest repair requests promptly.
Maintains general engineering-related inventory.
Participates in safety, technical training and career development.

As a Maintenance Technician I, a typical day will include:

Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned. (i.e. Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs. Performs temperature readings on appliances/HVAC, etc.)

Performs minor building repairs as assigned.

Responds and attends to guest repair requests.

Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.

Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

To Become a Maintenance Technician I at HVC:

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
