Starting Pay: Based on Experience/Skill Level: $31.75-$45.17/hr.

Primary Duties

• Providing safe and timely electrical support
• Conducting preventative maintenance on machinery
• Installing, servicing, repairing machines
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues on multiple operating machines in a manufacturing environment

• Mechanical and electrical experience
• Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair

What You Need To Succeed

• A basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• A basic understanding of Preventative Maintenance programs
• Knowledge/experience with basic mechanical components and concepts (e.g., Gears and Gearboxes, Bearings, Drive Shafts, Couplings, Sprockets, Chains)
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of power transmission equipment
• Familiar with pumps, both pneumatic and electric
• Some knowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switches
• Familiar with computers and Microsoft software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner
• PLC troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtimeAn operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3‑phase power, communication devices, industrial/electronic controls, and power transmission systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and logic/control diagrams
• Troubleshooting industrial electrical control systems down to component level (2‑3 years preferred)
• Able to install, set up, and troubleshoot both AC and DC drives
• Able to troubleshoot basic 3‑phase motor control circuits
• Basic welding skills
