Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. seeks a hands-on maintenance professional to manage day-to-day property upkeep across multiple trades in Peoria, AZ.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, pool upkeep, groundskeeping, and apartment turnover to keep our properties safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. This role values reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow safety rules and instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply written or oral instructions and solve problems with a few concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Attend to day-to-day property maintenance tasks across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, pool upkeep, groundskeeping).
• Support apartment turnover and project tasks to keep properties safe, functioning and welcoming.
• Participate in continuous learning and maintain competency skills.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

You will attend to day‑to‑day functions across multiple fields of property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, pool upkeep, groundskeeping, and apartment turnover. You may also be assigned additional tasks to support our projects and operations. Your work ensures that our properties are safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and tenants, directly impacting the communities we serve.

Minimum Qualifications And Competencies

• Education /Background: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply an understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Employee will be expected to participate in continuous learning, competency building and maintenance of competency skills.
