Responsibilities

  • Design, fabricate, modify, and maintain test fixtures, jigs, prototypes, and 3D-printed components to support manufacturing operations.
  • Create and update designs using CAD software, including SolidWorks, to improve production processes and equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical equipment used throughout production, testing, and repair operations.
  • Support production area setup, equipment installation, modifications, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Utilize machine shop equipment, hand tools, and fabrication equipment to build and repair custom tooling and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and project activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical solutions to manufacturing challenges.

Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform hands-on mechanical work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely operate mechanical tools, fabrication equipment, and maintenance tools.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and production environment.

What You Will Do
