Job summary

Price Brothers Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support multi-family properties in Overland Park, KS. You will assist the lead maintenance with daily upkeep of apartment units, exteriors, and common areas, following company standards and safety guidelines.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge (EPA Type I/II or Universal), ability to work independently, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of multi-family maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification (EPA Type I & II or Universal) required or preferred.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• General maintenance knowledge: electrical, plumbing, appliance repair.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver license and any state-required licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead maintenance in daily upkeep of apartments, exteriors, and common areas.
• Complete assigned work orders timely and professionally.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents and on-site staff.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as needed.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Salary Range: $20-$25 hourly plus commission (varies depending on experience and property location)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead maintenance in the daily upkeep of apartment units, property exterior and common areas in accordance with company standards


• Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner


• Establish and maintain professional relationships with all residents and on-site team members


• Flexibility to perform other job duties as required

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• 2-3 years of multi- family maintenance experience (preferred)


• Previous experience with HVAC systems


• Ability to work with minimal supervision


• Knowledge of general maintenance(i.e. electrical, plumbing and appliance repair)


• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skill


• Valid driver license and any other licenses/certifications required by the state


• HVAC Certification (EPA Type I & II OR Universal)


• Flexibility to work on-call and weekends as needed
