Job summary

The Liberty Group is actively seeking experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for on-site communities in Overland Park, KS. Pay ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements include 6+ months of on-site maintenance experience, valid government ID, reliable transportation, and bringing basic tools. HVAC certification and strong make-ready experience are a plus and may increase pay. We verify onsite experience and IDs before placement.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform make-ready/turn repairs to prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Maintain common areas and community grounds as needed.
• Document work in maintenance logs and prioritize orders.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and onsite teams.

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for onsite communities.

Pay ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

• 6+ months onsite apartment maintenance experience
• Valid government-issued ID
• Reliable transportation
• Own basic tools needed for maintenance work
• Comfortable completing service requests and apartment turns (make-ready)

What you’ll do

• Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional manner
• Perform make-ready/turn repairs to prepare vacant apartments for move-in
• Maintain common areas and community grounds as needed
• Document work completed in maintenance logsPrioritize multiple work orders and work independently
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and onsite teams

Preferred (not required)

• A/C / HVAC certification (EPA/CFC/HVAC) — pays more
• Strong make-ready/turn experience
• Related experience (hotel maintenance, rehab, condo, carpentry) only if you also have onsite apartment experience
