Job summary

Mercury Plastics is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Middlefield, OH. The role requires at least 3 years in industrial maintenance and a technical background in electrical and fluid power. Pay is $37.00 per hour on a 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am).

Responsibilities include maintaining facility and production equipment, performing PMs, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should be self-motivated and possess a valid driver’s license; PLCs and hydraulics knowledge

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Three years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Technical degree, certification or equivalent trades training with emphasis on electrical and/or fluid power.
• Valid driver’s license with transportation required.
• Self-starter, dependable, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all facility and production-related equipment using safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Identify and resolve work requests on a variety of production equipment and processes.
• Keep equipment in safe operating condition and perform preventive maintenance (PM) rounds.
• Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs and general maintenance.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
