Job summary

Mercury Plastics in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role requires basic manufacturing experience and the ability to follow training parameters on injection molding machines.

The 3rd shift runs Sunday to Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Pay ranges from $20.50 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with comprehensive medical/dental/vision and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing experience is preferred; ability to follow training parameters.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements with reasonable accuracy.
• Must be able to visually identify quality variances and enforce quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Load plastic tubes onto molding machine and activate the machine.
• Unload tubes from core pins at the end of the molding cycle.
• Maintain cycle times to meet production goals.
• Visually inspect finished parts for quality compliance.
• Pack finished parts for shipment and keep work area clean.

Pay Rate: $20.50-$23.00/hr, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Job Summary:

An established manufacturing company in Middlefield, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Injection Mold Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing setting. The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for following the training parameters to become proficient in injection molding machines

Key Responsibilities

• Load plastic tubes onto molding machine and activate the machine
• Unload tubes from core pins at the end of the molding cycle
• Maintain cycle times
• Visually inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications
• Pack finished parts for shipment
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

Organization and Relationships

• The Injection Mold Operator reports to an Area Manager and Shift Lead to meet production and quality goals.

Job Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand and walk for full shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to twist, pull, push, kneel, and bend
