Vector's partner in Medina, OH, with over 100 years in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician.

Position Details:

• Type: Direct Hire
• Salary: $25-$38/hr., based on experience
• Shifts Available: 2nd Shift: 3p-11p

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and systems in facilities, following blueprints and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
• Inspect and test machinery using electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Detect malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and discuss issues with supervisors or maintenance team.
• Dismantle defective machinery and install repaired or new parts.
• Clean and lubricate machinery components.
• Install and repair electrical systems and components.
• Maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Repair physical structures and grounds as needed.
• Install machinery and equipment according to blueprints.
• Program or repair automated machinery, such as robots or controllers.
• Operate machine tools for repairs or fabrication.
• Use welding equipment to join metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair wooden structures if required.
• Follow safety procedures, especially regarding hazardous waste handling.

Requirements:

• Proven safety record in previous roles.
• Strong electrical skills; experience with 480V 3-phase preferred.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting and plumbing.
• Controls experience, including PLC.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and machine guarding.
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Stand for up to 8+ hours; lift loads up to 50+ pounds; tolerate hot conditions.
