Veolia Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, install new equipment, and run preventive maintenance on all assigned machinery. Work on A-B shifts, with weekend work every other month.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1 year of PVC plumbing or mechanical repair experience, plus electrical panelboard exposure. Preferred are trade school training, electrical certification, and PLC/electrical installation experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of PVC plumbing, OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or training
• Electrical panelboard experience
• Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly desired
• Electrical Certification
• At least 1 year of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work experience, including electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experience

• Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping the maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean, as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
• Install new equipment or rearrange existing equipment
• Be available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep the plant in good running order

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, general repairs, install new equipment and systems, and perform a preventive maintenance program on all assigned machinery as directed by the supervisor. A-B shifts, working on the weekends every other month.

Education & Experience

Required

• Travel for field repair and installation if needed
• Will perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
• Will work in a range of environments including but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities

Compensation:
The hourly rate of $26.00-$30.00 is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles.
