The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues while responding quickly to maintenance requests and keeping a clean, safe work area.
You will work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general safety tasks, supporting a dynamic community center.
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspections of our building systems and equipment. This position will include completing preventative maintenance according to established schedules. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues. This position also includes responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, and maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area.
You are a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician who can perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and complete repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facility. You have experience maintaining commercial buildings and can work independently while responding quickly to maintenance requests. You have time management, customer service and communications skills. You can work on Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to perform your job.
$55,000 - $60,000 Annually
This is a full time, 40 hour per week position.
