Job summary

The Arlington of Naples, a premier senior living community, is seeking a Hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, while providing attentive, respectful service to residents.

The shift is from 12pm to 8pm, with salary starting at $24/hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
• HVAC Certification/Training preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff in English.
• On-Call Scheduling and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including electrical and plumbing tasks.
• Assists with HVAC equipment resets and simple repairs.
• Responds to emergency calls for system or equipment failure.
• Completes work orders with detailed task and equipment information.
• Assists other maintenance staff on various campus projects and storm cleanup.
• Maintains proper levels of materials and supplies for timely task completion.

The Arlington of Naples is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Salary starting at $24/hour - commensurate with experience and/or education.

Shift - 12pm to 8pm.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, repairing doors and locks, etc.
• Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment. Performs resets and simple repairs as necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs including campus storm clean up.
• Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Most possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include but not limited to plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances.
• HVAC Certification/Training preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff in English.
• Able to take On-Call Scheduling and weekend availability required.
