Job summary

The Arlington of Naples is seeking a hospitality-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team, supporting residents and maintaining clean, safe living spaces in a senior living community. The role focuses on dependable, courteous service and timely repairs during a 12pm–8pm shift.

Primary duties include routine and emergency repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, and appliances, plus completing work orders and coordinating with other maintenance staff to keep the campus running

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances.
• HVAC certification/training preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with residents and staff in English.
• Able to take On-Call Scheduling and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, repairing doors and locks, etc.
• Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment. Performs resets and simple repairs as necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information.
• Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs including campus storm clean up.
• Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks
