Job summary

Aerotek in Mt Sterling, KY is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a contract-to-hire role on onsite operations. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient production.

The position requires collaboration with production teams and accurate maintenance records, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Install factory and plant machinery and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
• Repair and replace faulty components, parts, and assemblies on industrial machinery and support systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe and reliable performance.
• Inspect machinery regularly to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance and support continuous improvement of equipment performance.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on electrical and mechanical systems in the plant.
• Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting methods to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Support efforts to keep the facility’s machinery compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mt Sterling, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
