Role Description

This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based at Precision Materials' Blue Ridge facility in Taylorsville, NC. The Maintenance Technician will perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing preventive maintenance schedules, and assisting in equipment installations and upgrades. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, and adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards. The technician is expected to respond promptly to equipment issues, participate in continuous improvement efforts, and support a clean, organized work environment.



Qualifications


  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for manufacturing and facility systems.

  • Experience in Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in industrial equipment.

  • Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance practices, including scheduling, inspection, and documentation.

  • Background in Industrial Maintenance within a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.

  • Commitment to safety procedures and familiarity with OSHA or similar standards.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or industrial technology preferred.

  • Capability to lift and move equipment as needed and to work in a fast-paced, production setting.
