Job summary

INH Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team across our Minnesota properties. You will manage maintenance tasks, oversee repairs, coordinate with residents, and ensure safety and quality in all work.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems, with a proactive approach to grounds, janitorial, and move-in readiness. Join our on-site team today.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Drywalling, painting, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of plumbing.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (outlets, switches, light fixtures).

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technician team, including assigning daily tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards.
• Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal
• Interior painting
• Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
• Responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
• Cleaning/Maintaining common areas
• Work as a team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins and maintain our communities to the highest standard
• All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents

What We’re Looking For

Due to Hamilton INH's recent growth, we are seeking a full-time, experienced Maintenance Supervisor that will take pride in making our apartment community a great place to live!

Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

When joining our team, you will play an important role by owning the following tasks:

• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance technician team, including assigning daily tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards.
• Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
• Grounds upkeep and snow removal
• Interior painting
• Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
• Responding to work orders in a timely manner
• Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests

Requirements

Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid Driver's License
• Time Management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Dry walling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures

Preferred But Not Required

• Experience in multi-family housing
• Boilers knowledge is strongly preferred
• Boilers License or a willingness to get one
• HVAC certification strongly preferred
• CPO Certified or willingness to get certified
• Chiller knowledge

Working Conditions

• This position will cover our properties in Mankato, MN area.
• Hourly
• Full Time
• On-Call
