Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Location: Moberly, MO

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machinery such as Formax, Alkar, Multivac, Flexvac, and slicer equipment. Training provided if you have a background in:
• Boiler
• Electrical
• Schematic reading
• Multi-meters
• Pneumatic troubleshooting

• Monitor production areas to ensure equipment functions properly
• Complete work orders and adhere to safety procedures (Lock Out Tag Out, forklift, scissor lift, fall protection, etc.)
• Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment
• Promote safety in maintenance activities
• Complete paperwork and oversee mechanical work
• Address downtime caused by mechanical or technical issues
• Report maintenance downtime and assign work orders or projects
• Maintain department budget within guidelines
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and coordinate with production supervisors
• Work 40+ hours per week across plant areas
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Basic mathematical skills
• Mechanical inclination and knowledge of job specifications
• Goal-oriented with root cause analysis skills
• Previous maintenance and supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical trades
• Technical schooling in mechanical or electrical fields helpful
• Industrial construction experience beneficial

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds
• Work 12-hour shifts
• Stand, walk, handle items, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, communicate
• Work in wet, humid, cold conditions, near moving machinery
• Moderate to loud noise levels
