Job summary

The University of Mississippi Athletics Department is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in inspection, maintenance, and repair of basic equipment and facilities to meet established standards.

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance to support a safe and efficient operation of Ole Miss Athletics facilities, equipment, and property, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays for events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Relevant experience may be considered but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate records of inspections, work performed, preventive-maintenance activities, parts used, and service referrals.
• Assists with event-related facility preparation, setup, teardown, and repair needs for athletic competitions, practices, camps, and departmental events.
• Supports a safe, clean, and functional environment for student-athletes, coaches, staff, guests, and visitors by following safety procedures and departmental standards.
• Collaborates with Athletics Facilities, University Facilities Management, contractors, and campus partners to coordinate maintenance projects and address facility needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned in support of Ole Miss Athletics facilities and operations.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance, repair, and preventive-maintenance work to support the safe and efficient operation of Ole Miss Athletics facilities, equipment, and property.

Job Responsibilities
