GCI Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Blu Aventura, a luxury lease-up in Aventura, FL. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe, attractive community and handling service requests with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance.
• Experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, exteriors and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance, safety, and cleanliness of community and grounds.
• Respond to service requests with troubleshooting and problem solving.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the community and grounds.


• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests using strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Perform apartment turns and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, pool maintenance, and building exteriors.


• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold community standards and create an exceptional resident experience.


• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality service and operational excellence.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance


• Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances


• Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships


• Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks


• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours

Education, Licenses, And Certifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent


• EPA certification (or willingness to obtain) and substantial experience in making HVAC related repairs
