GCI Residential is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Blu Aventura, a brand-new luxury lease-up in Aventura, FL. You will help deliver exceptional resident experiences by keeping the community well-maintained, safe, and operating to high standards.

This role offers growth within a growing company and competitive benefits. You will work on repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool, and exterior systems, collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain top-tier service

Qualifications

• 2+ years in multifamily maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliance repair experience.
• EPA certification or willingness to obtain.
• Customer-focused approach and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, safety of the community and grounds.
• Respond to resident service requests with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Perform apartment turns and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool, and exteriors.
• Partner with Maintenance Supervisor to uphold standards and resident experience.
• Contribute to a positive team environment with quality service.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the community and grounds.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests using strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Perform apartment turns and complete repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, pool maintenance, and building exteriors.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to uphold community standards and create an exceptional resident experience.
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality service and operational excellence.

Requirements

What we need:

• A minimum of 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance
• Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances
• Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
• Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours

Education, Licenses, and Certifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• EPA certification (or willingness to obtain) and substantial experience in making HVAC related repairs
