Job summary

JLL is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support operation, inspection, and light maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities.

The role involves assisting the engineering team, performing general maintenance tasks, and completing CMMS work orders. It requires 1–2 years of related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with ladders up to 30 feet, in a Miami-area facility.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry.
• 1–2 years of experience in property management roles or commercial high-rise experience.
• Trade school, union training, military service or college experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or painting.
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentation.
• Maintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditions.
• Work closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and others.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
• Support on-call or emergency response situations.
• Other projects and tasks to be assigned.

The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.

Schedule: 10am-6:30pm Monday through Friday.

Weekends and overtime as needed with a rotating on-call schedule.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
