Maintenance Technician – JLL

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems to keep facilities operating efficiently
- Complete daily work orders and service requests promptly, ensuring accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and materials used
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify potential issues, maintain lighting systems, and perform preventive maintenance on building equipment
- Handle facility support tasks such as rekeying doors, cutting keys, and moving office furniture or equipment as needed
- Respond to building emergencies and urgent maintenance situations while strictly adhering to safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following established safety rules and proper tool/equipment handling procedures
- Support on-call shifts, overtime, and emergency response duties as required to ensure continuous facility operations
Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in building engineering, general repairs, or facilities maintenance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance and repairs
- Physical ability to lift 50 to 80 lbs and safely use ladders up to 30 feet
- Availability and willingness to support on-call shifts, emergency response, and overtime when required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade certifications or specialized training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related technical disciplines
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order tracking software
- Basic knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and energy management platforms
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and facility compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation when interacting with tenants and building occupants

Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
