Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a stable manufacturing operation in Medina, Ohio. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and repair various industrial systems in a hands-on environment.

This full-time role offers a long-term career with a supportive team and exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and electrical systems up to 480V, with opportunities for growth and a performance bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors and conveyors.
• Electrical troubleshooting up to 480V preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus.
• PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and replace or repair defective components.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, bearings, gears, valves, sensors, switches, and related equipment.
• Perform welding and basic fabrication as needed.
• Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
• Complete maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Assist with equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

In this role, you'll help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You'll work on a variety of industrial machinery while collaborating with an experienced maintenance team.

• Electrical troubleshooting experience, including industrial equipment up to 480V, is preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
