About the Role

Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the machine setup and tear down, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services. The ideal candidate should live in the Manchester, CT area.

What You Will Do

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for all facilities, and equipment.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks and water lines repairs.
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
• All other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical training: exposure to various types of manufacturing machinery preferred.
• Comfortable with wearing full-face respirator when necessary.
• Requires ability to perform general to advance math computations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings.
• Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Frequently exposed to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach activities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Expected Compensation

Starting hourly rate of $28-$33/hour + benefits + annual incentive bonus
