Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management, a Southern California property management company, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep rental properties in excellent condition, inside and out. The candidate should be self-motivated, customer-focused, technically skilled, fast-moving, and technologically proficient.

This position services multiple properties. The role offers full-time hours (40 per week) with a $25.00 hourly wage, and a benefits package including medical, vision, dental, and 401K.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field with customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Great communication skills.
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities.
• Honest, Trustworthy & Accountable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units.
• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, window screens, and other general building items.
• Maintain accurate record of daily maintenance records and action items.
• Interact with vendors and suppliers in a professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to the team and residents.
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner.
• Complete emergency and routine service requests.
• Turnover make ready tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new move-ins.

Job Summary:

Oversee the management and maintenance of a 164-unit building

Requirements

• Perform other tasks as requested
• After hours emergency response as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field, with customer service experience
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Great communication skills
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities
• Honest, Trustworthy & Accountable
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation
• Provide own tools to complete work orders
