Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC machinery, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, electrical systems.
  • Perform mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs across the facility.
  • Assemble and disassemble complex mechanical systems for maintenance.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and support equipment condition monitoring.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Use appropriate tools and diagnostics to identify and fix issues.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated Maintenance Technician with a strong industrial maintenance background to support our manufacturing operations. This hands-on position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to help keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate brings experience in a machining or manufacturing environment and a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. What You’ll Do
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC machinery, conveyors, engines, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment, electrical systems, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs throughout the facility.
  • Assemble and disassemble complex mechanical systems as needed for maintenance and repair.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and assist with equipment condition monitoring.
  • Maintain current knowledge of manufacturing equipment, including proper setup, operation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Use appropriate repair tools, techniques, and diagnostic methods to identify and correct equipment issues.
Manufacturing & Facility Support
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and other team members to identify equipment maintenance needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Support facility systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Fabricate carts, fixtures, workstations, and other items to support production needs.
  • Help ensure equipment is operated and maintained according to established quality standards.
  • Transport materials and components using hand-transport equipment or forklifts as needed.
  • Assist with facility and grounds-related activities, including scrap removal and other general facility support as needed.
Safety & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain work areas according to 5S standards for organization, housekeeping, and inspection.
  • Support team members in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe working environment.
  • Follow all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance practices, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the operation.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree with related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems CNC manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with PLCs, HVAC, plumbing, and facility electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of machinery and tools, including their operation, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively manage assigned responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works on-site in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment and may include exposure to coolant fumes and other conditions typical of machining operations.

Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for extended periods.
  • Regularly bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift.
  • Safely work around manufacturing machinery and equipment.
