Job summary

Lake Air Products in Little Chute, WI is seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to join our team and oversee preventive maintenance on CNC machines, turret punches, brake presses, welding equipment, electrical systems, and facilities. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing, with strong pneumatics, PLC, and electronics skills, plus the ability to work independently and part of a team focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all PMs based on a scheduled event for all Lake Air plants and track results.
• Maintain facilities and grounds and manage related contract services and repairs.
• Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to manufacturing staff.
• Interpret manuals, specs, blueprints and schematics for equipment.
• Collaborate with Production for Continuous Improvement programs.
• Stay current on OSHA, Arc Flash and LO/TO procedures and updates.
• Train on proper equipment maintenance and repair methods.
• Assist workers in diagnosing machinery malfunctions and recommend fixes.

Position Summary

We are looking for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to join ourLittle Chute, WILocation. The right maintenance tech will have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance on manufacturing machines (CNC machines, turret punch, brake press, welding equipment, electrical, and facilities). If you have a proven background in successful PM within a sheet metal or stamping manufacturing environment, this might be a great role for you!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs all PM’s based on a scheduled event for all Lake Air plants, and tracks results.
• Maintain facilities and grounds as well as manage associated contract services and repairs.
• Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to all manufacturing employees.
• Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
• Works together with the Production departments for Continuous Improvement programs.
• Remains current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and updates as required
• Trains on proper equipment maintenance and repair.
• Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Make recommendations on the use of machinery and equipment.
• Works with outside vendors in painting and performing structural repairs to buildings, equipment, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Experience with Pneumatics, PLC, Electronics
• Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and easily adapt to change
• Working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Programs
• 10+ years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to network and/or research issues to quickly diagnose repair issues
