Job summary

Lake Air Products in Little Chute, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician on the 1st shift to maintain manufacturing equipment, PM programs, and support continuous improvement. The role requires hands-on experience with pneumatics, PLCs, electronics, and a track record of preventive maintenance in sheet metal or stamping settings.

You will work with Production teams to troubleshoot issues, train operators, and ensure compliance with safety standards such as OSHA.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience with Pneumatics, PLC, Electronics.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs all PM's based on a scheduled event for all Lake Air plants, and tracks results.
• Maintain facilities and grounds as well as manage associated contract services and repairs.
• Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to all manufacturing employees.
• Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
• Works together with the Production departments for Continuous Improvement programs.
• Remains current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and updates as required
• Trains on proper equipment maintenance and repair.
• Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Make recommendations on the use of machinery and equipment.
• Works with outside vendors in painting and performing structural repairs to buildings, equipment, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
