Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our growing team.

We are looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. A passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems is ideal. The successful RV Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay for certification if needed. We want to talk to candidates with experience in: Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, RV Service.

What You’ll Do

• Provide and document diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
• Track parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor informed of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.

What You'll Need

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but applicable work experience is also considered.
• Minimum of 1-year service technician or related experience preferred.
• RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
• Potential exposure to heights, electrical, and welding hazards.
• Possible exposure to environmental conditions like heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.
• Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Must furnish own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Valid driver's license.
