Job summary

United Zion Retirement Community in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance, repairs, and preventive work across the campus. You will also act as the building custodian ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming facilities for residents and staff.

The role requires at least two years of related experience or formal training in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work, along with a valid PA driver's license and strong customer service orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a similar role or specialized training in HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical.
• Must have a valid PA driver's license.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs and work orders across the campus.

Fulltime, 10 days per pay, rotating weekend and holiday coverageShift Time: 5:30am - 2:00pm Training Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pmPosition Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance, repairs, work order completion, and preventative maintenance across the entire campus. This role also serves as the building custodian, ensuring facilities and grounds remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining maintenance equipment, identifying and reporting safety hazards in compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting overall facility operations.
