Job summary

United Zion Retirement Community in Lititz, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide general maintenance, repairs, and preventive care across the campus. The role also acts as building custodian to keep facilities and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years in a related role or training in HVAC/plumbing/electrical, and a valid PA driver’s license. Must read/write/speak English and support residents, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in required training and meetings; support residents, staff and visitors.

Job Details: Job Location: Lititz, PA 17543, Salary Range: $21.00 - $23.00 Hourly, Fulltime, 10 days per pay, rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Shift Time: 5:30am - 2:00pm Training Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing general maintenance, repairs, work order completion, and preventative maintenance across the entire campus. This role also serves as the building custodian, ensuring facilities and grounds remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining maintenance equipment, identifying and reporting safety hazards in compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting overall facility operations. The position requires participation in required training and meetings, a strong commitment to customer service, adherence to compliance and HIPAA standards, effective time management, adaptability, and the ability to foster positive working relationships with residents, staff, and visitors.
