Job summary

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life in North Wales, PA, seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team on our 70+ acre campus. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, equipment, and grounds, ensuring safe and efficient operation across the campus.

You will inspect facilities, repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and collaborate with staff to minimize downtime while maintaining accurate records and participating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders or scaffolding as needed.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs.
