Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
2. Work within the production schedule to perform all scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment.
3. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
4. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust, as required.
6. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment to perform duties.
7. Report faulty operations/defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the Operations Manager and applicable Department Supervisor(s).
8. If assigned, perform routine inspections and maintenance on all company trucks, forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
9. Complete other tasks/projects assigned by your direct supervisor.
10. Assist with the transport of product as necessary.
11. Serve as a backup for janitorial staff.
12. Follow all AS9100 policies and procedures, OSHA safety regulations, and company safety policies.
Job Requirements:
1. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident required (sponsorship will not be provided for this position).
2. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Trade school certification/education is preferred.
3. Prefer 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
4. Perfect attendance.
5. Positive attitude.
6. Must be detail-oriented and follow instructions provided.
7. Must have dexterity to handle small parts with care.
8. Must have experience working with electrical, specifically 480V.
9. Must be mechanically inclined.
10. Must have a clean driving record and able to procure a ‘For Hire’ license within 60 days of employment.
11. Prior experience reading and making blueprints is a plus.
12. Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
13. All employment at IBC is conditional upon results from background and drug testing.
