Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Lawrence, KS. You will prep apartments for make-ready turns, perform general maintenance, respond to service requests, and handle preventative work on HVAC systems.

This role requires reliable, punctual candidates with an on-site mindset and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities include snow removal, grounds upkeep, and completing work orders for plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
• HVAC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
• General maintenance duties as necessary.
• On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls.
• Snow removal and grounds maintenance of common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other systems.
• Complete work orders for plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical.
