Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance for multi-family properties. Responsibilities include prepping apartments for make-ready turns, handling service requests, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.

Qualifications include two years of maintenance experience in multi-family properties, a valid driver’s license, and a basic set of tools. Bilingual preferred, overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family or residential properties.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Have a basic set of tools.
• Knowledge of on-site maintenance management and hands-on repairs.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns and completing work orders.
• General maintenance duties as needed.
• On-call for after-hour emergency calls.
• Snow removal and maintenance of grounds and common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Light carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks to complete service requests.
