Job summary

Friedman Real Estate is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to prep apartments for make-ready turns, perform general maintenance, and handle after-hours calls. Responsibilities include snow removal, preventative HVAC maintenance, and completing work orders across plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks.

Ideal candidates have two years of maintenance experience in multi-family properties, a valid driver’s license, basic tools, and a reliable, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification a plus.
• Be responsible and reliable.
• Must have basic set of tools.
• Have complete grasp of on-site maintenance management.
• Two years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties.
• Candidates must prove they have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Know make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Prepping apartments for make-ready turns.
• General maintenance duties as necessary.
• On-call; respond to after-hour emergency calls.
• Snow removal and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Completing work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, light electrical.
