We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Lawrence, KS location. This role involves performing various technical duties related to mechanical, electrical, preventive maintenance, and fabrication functions.

Shift:

Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM CST, with overtime as required.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues in a production environment.
  • Repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
  • Support fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, pipefitting, and machining tasks.
  • Follow oral and written instructions.
  • Understand and adhere to parts ordering and issuing procedures.
  • Maintain safety standards, company policies, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Typical Duties:
  • Diagnose equipment failures.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Engage in fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, pipefitting, and machining.
  • Operate production equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work off ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts.
  • Extended walking and standing.
  • Manual dexterity with hand/power tools.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of a tablet for office activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to operate forklifts and similar equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of maintenance experience in a production setting.
